CRISIS ON MULTIPLE EARTHS Ep 001 Flash #123

KSCGSF podcast - A podcast by Kyle Benning

Categories:

Welcome to the first episode of the CRISIS ON MULTIPLE EARTHS PODCAST, a show dedicated to covering the stories chronicling the adventures and team-ups of the Justice Society of America of Earth-2 and their Earth-1 counterparts the Justice League of America. Each episode will be devoted to a single issue of one of these Crisis crossovers, so join me, your host Kyle Benning, as I chronologically work through the 8 volumes of Crisis on Multiple Earths and Crisis on Multiple Earth Team-Ups TPBs.

This time out I dive into the Crisis on Multiple Earths Volume 1 TPB to examine the first meeting of heroes from the two parallel earths, as told in the story from Flash #123, appropriately titles "Flash of Two Worlds." The issue originally went on sale July 18th 1961. "Flash of Two Worlds" was written by Gardner Fox, penciled by Carmine Infantino, and inked by Joe Giella.

You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes & Stitcher under the KSCGSF Podcast Feed.

I mention during the episode two fantastic podcasts that have inspired me and that you should be listening to, the Who's Who Podcast from the Fire & Water Podcast Network and the Tales of the JSA Podcast from the Two True Freaks Podcast Network. You can find both podcast on iTunes, as well as visit their respective sites and Facebook pages.

The Who's Who Podcast and Fire & Water Podcast Network are the result of the combined efforts of Rob Kelly of the The Aquaman Shrine and Shag Matthews of Firestorm Fan. All of their podcast episodes can be found at the Fire & Water Podcast Blog.

The Tales of the Justice Society of America Podcast is part of the TWO TRUE FREAKS Podcast Network and is hosted by Scott Gardner and Michael Bailey and can be found on the Tales of the JSA Podcast page. They have a very interactive Tales of the JSA Facebook Group Page where you can join the discussion.

Feedback for the podcast can be left here at the blog, on iTunes via an iTunes review, emailed to me at my email address [email protected], or on the King-Size Comics Giant-Size Fun Facebook page.
