139. Time to Drop this Bad Habit

When I got a job at an A&W Restaurant back in the '80s (yeah synth-rock rules!) I came home one day and complained about my boss to my dad. My dad wasn't very sympathetic; he told me that if I don't like what I'm doing, I should quit my job and do something else. "What? Quit? I just wanted to complain...I wasn't trying to do anything crazy like actually find a job I like...that requires more work!" As I grew older this advice has grown on me. In my younger years, I really liked to complain...I was really good at it...but it did not serve me well. No one wants to follow a leader who complains. It's quite uninspiring. In today's episode, we talk about this lame habit and why you really need to retrain your way of thinking. It will help you become a better leader and help you grow your business!
