He has served as the missions director of a megachurch, Perspectives instructor, mobilisation director for a sending agency, and leader within the Lausanne Movement. With his wife and five children, he currently serves in Ethiopia through a partnership with TMS Global and EvaSUE, the IFES affiliate in the country.
