In this week’s episode, I talk with Joe Delaney, a Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps with over 28 years of service. He currently leads the Marine Forces Pacific Information Environment (IE) Directorate. Don’t worry if you aren’t in the military or familiar with military terminology, this episode has something for all types of leaders. Joe talks about how he decided to become an officer in the Marines, what he learned from his mentors early in his career, how important it is to be an authentic leader and so much more!Joe was born in San Fernando, Trinidad.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1989 and was commissioned from Savannah State University in 1993. He holds a BS in Mathematics, Savannah State University, an MS in Management, Troy State University, an MS in Information Technology Management, Naval Postgraduate School, and an MS in Strategic Studies, Marine Corps War College.
