Ep.7 The weather like in New York, Greece & Chicago in Greek (Beginners)

In today's episode you will listen a dialogue between two friends about what the weather like in New York, Greece and Chicago. Ε: {phone rings} ‘Ελα αγάπη! / Hey love! D: Έλαααα, τι κάνεις; / Heeeyyy, how are you? E: Όλα καλά, εσύ; / All good, you? D: Και εγώ μια χαρά. / Me as well. E: Τι καιρό κάνει εκεί στο Σικάγο; / What’s the weather like in Chicago? D: Άσε, έχει λίγο κρύο αλλά την επόμενη εβδομάδα θα έχει ήλιο. / It's a bit cold but next week it will be sunny  E: Αχ, τι ωραία. Επιτέλους ήλιο. / Ah, that’s great. Finally some sun! D: Εκεί στην Νέα Υόρκη τι καιρό κάνει; / What's the weather like there in New York? E: Εδώ έβρεχε πολύ το Σάββατο. Αλλά γενικά το πρωί ξεκινάει με κρύο και μετά έχει καλύτερη θερμοκρασία. / It rained a lot here on Saturday. But generally the morning starts cold and then the temperature rises. D: Και εδώ τα ίδια. / Same here. E: Τώρα βλέπω τον καιρό στην Ελλάδα. / Now I see the weather in Greece. D: Α ναι; τι καιρό κάνει τώρα στην Θεσσαλονίκη; / Oh yeah? What’s the weather like in Thessaloniki. Ε: Έχει καταιγίδα τώρα και φυσάει πολύ. / It’s stormy now and very windy. D: Μου έλεγε η μαμα μου οτι θα χαλάσει ο καιρός εκεί. / My mom told me the other day that the weather would turn bad there. E: Εντάξει ευτυχώς που δεν χιονίζει. / Luckily it's not snowing. D: Ε βέβαια, Απρίλιος είναι. / Of course, it’s April. E: Περιμένω τον Μάιο που θα έχει καλό καιρό και θα βγαίνουμε βόλτες. / I am waiting for May when the weather will be good and we will go for walks. D: Αχχχ, και εγώ. / Aahh, me too. E: Λοιπόν, πρέπει να σ’ αφήσω γιατί είμαι στην δουλειά. / Well, I have to leave you because I'm at work. D: Εντάξει αγάπη, φιλιά πολλά! / Okay love, lots of kisses.  E: Φιλάκια, τα λέμε. / Kisses, see ya.
