A foundational truth for everyone called to live to love with Jesus.

Romans 11:36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. This verse tells us the mind of Christ regarding all things. They come from His Father for His glory. This is a foundational truth if we are going to love God and love others. We can’t love with Jesus if we don’t think like Jesus. This is a huge worldview tenet for all believers in Jesus Christ. Paul stated the same truth to the Corinthians when he wrote in 1 Corinthians 8:6 “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.” We can be encouraged that there is nothing that has occurred or will occur that God is not going to receive glory, and that is true forever! He is the ultimate source of all things, and He administrates them in perfect wisdom, knowledge, judgment, and love. Our problems, anxieties, and difficulties arise when we don’t believe this great truth and view things from our idolatrous, self-centered perspective. I encourage you today to humble yourself and intentionally embrace this grand statement of the sovereignty of Almighty God. We are His creatures, created for His glory.
