Jesus lives in all who are His.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

Romans 6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, Paul continued His encouragement to the Romans highlighting the great truth of our union with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. This verse has prompted me to ask these questions. Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? If yes, then do you believe that you died to your selfish, natural life in this world when He died? Do you believe that Jesus rose from the dead and now lives, never to die again? If yes, then do you believe that you were raised with Him so that you could live with Him and He with you forever? Let me ask one final question. Do you believe Jesus Christ lives in you today and everyday? If you answer “Yes” to all of these questions, then you believe that you have the life of Jesus dwelling in you. He saved you for the purpose of living His life of love in your mortal body. You have His purpose, worldview, mindset and agenda within you. The last question is this: Have you laid down your old natural purposes, worldviews, mindsets, and agendas and surrendered yourself to Him? That’s what living to love with Jesus is all about. Paul wrote that we believe we shall also live with Him. Today, for the glory of God in Christ, live with Jesus. Receive whatever happens today as from God, your Father, given to you in love so that you might find your satisfaction and life in Christ. Knowing this, that God’s purpose in all things is the same as it was with His Son, namely, to reveal His glory through His love. If we have died with Christ, let’s also live with Christ—obeying and loving for the glory of God. Acknowledgment: Music from “Carried by the Father” by Eric Terlizzi. www.ericterlizzi.com
