Jesus saves us by His life.

Romans 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Look at this encouragement today from the apostle Paul. If God reconciled us through the death of His Son, how much more, now, having raised Him from the dead, will God save us from His wrath through the life of His Son. God has given us the life of His Son. Eternal life lives, dwells, abides in us. We are united as one with Him. For us to live is for Christ to live. As we live to love with Jesus, we are saved by His life. Not only His indwelling life, but His life at the right hand of God where He intercedes for us. Here’s how it is expressed in Hebrews 7:25. “Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Jesus lives! He lives in us! He is saving us, and today, He plans to use us to love and save those who are lost. We are only the branches displaying the glorious love of our living Lord Jesus Christ.
