Love Jesus with all that you are.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. Up until Jesus came, mankind sought to justify themselves before God on the grounds of their good works. We failed miserably and still fall short even today. If you ask people if they think they will go to heaven when they die, most will say that they think they will. They usually add, “I’m not that bad of a person.” In other words, they think their good deeds outweigh their bad ones. Once Jesus came, a new means of justification before God was made known. There had been plenty of time for mankind to see that the Law only revealed that we are sinners and that none of us are righteous. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, good news spread like wildfire throughout the world. God has made a way that a person can be justified by faith in Jesus Christ—His substitutionary death and resurrection. In His death, sins are paid for and covered by His blood, and in His life, righteousness is put to our account and we are redeemed for the glory of God. Doesn’t this good news make you want to love Him with all that you are? The way we love Him is by loving with Him. Let’s give Him full access to our bodies and souls for Him to express His love. He bought us. We are His. He loves us, and delights to love others through us. Acknowledgment: Music from “Carried by the Father” by Eric Terlizzi. www.ericterlizzi.com
