Thank God for your fellow workers in Christ

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

Romans 16:3 Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, Those who work with us in the kingdom are special, are they not? Three times in Paul’s letters he mentioned Prisca and Aquila. Apparently the couple had occasion to be in Rome. They were co-workers with Paul in Corinth. Paul’s mention of them gives me pause to think about the people God has placed in my life with whom I co-labor. I’m so grateful for them! There are those who financially support or prayerfully support Elijah Ministries. I’ve ministered in some countries more than ten times and the same people host me and minister with me, so those fellow workers in Christ Jesus come to mind. God has raised up dozens of fellow workers who are leading Live to Love discipleship groups or men’s small groups using resources from Elijah Ministries. Additionally, there’s my board of directors, personal assistant, and our shipping and inventory manager. All of these people are fellow workers with me in loving the body of Christ with Jesus. I encourage you to pause today and give thanks to God for those He has given to you as fellow workers in Christ Jesus. In your own way, greet them in the Lord, give Him thanks, and let your heart appreciate God’s’ goodness to you through them. You and I would not be as fruitful or productive in the kingdom of God without them. Father, thank You for those You have given to encourage, help, and minister with us in Your name. Bless them today with the fullness of the blessing of Christ Jesus, Your Son, in whose name we pray. Amen.
