The righteousness of God reveals the love of God.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; The righteousness of God manifested through faith in Jesus Christ does not have the distinctions of Jew and Gentile because when it comes to their standing before God according to the Law, they are all in the same condition and in need of the same remedy. Jews and Gentiles have all sinned and all have not glorified God. They all need a righteousness that glorifies God so they can stand before Him. How is God glorified in all who believe? They are justified as a gift, meaning, the righteousness in which they stand before God is a gift of God by His grace. Jesus Christ paid the debt of love or righteousness which they owe. The Law demands that we love. Love is the fulfillment of the Law. Jesus poured out His love to God and for us in laying down His life for us in obedience to His Father. This gift of righteousness by grace reveals the love of God: the sustained direction of the will toward our highest good, no matter what the cost. The righteousness of God reveals the love of God. If we are recipients of His righteousness we become channels of His love. Father, thank You for the gift of righteousness and the revelation of Your love. Fill us with awe and gratitude for Your glorious gift. Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your life and the privilege of loving, with You, those you put in our paths today.
