What does God’s DNA look like? Faith and love.

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. Someone who has God’s DNA in him is one who has faith in Jesus as God’s son, who took on flesh and blood so He could be the savior of God’s family and the firstborn of many brethren. And being born of God, they love their Father by loving their spiritual siblings. The love of the Father for His children dwells in them. It is a part of their spiritual DNA. God is love. That means we have been called by God to live to love with Jesus as He loves His brothers and sisters through us. More than likely you will have opportunities today to love on Jesus’ brothers and sisters as an expression of love for our Father. The Father loves His children so much that He gave His Son to save them, and He raised His Son, Jesus, to life so that He would love them forever. As a reservoir of God’s love, filled with the love of Jesus, a child of God has more than enough love for the rest of His family. All who have God’s DNA will resemble one another in faith and love. I invite you to join the live to love adventure at www.livetolovewithjesus.com. I hope you’ll take the Live to Love Prayer Challenge to experience the joy of living to love with Jesus.
