You’ve got to love this! No violations in your account

Live to Love Scripture Encouragement - A podcast by Norm Wakefield

Romans 4:15 for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Wow, what an encouragement! Since God has excluded Law as the grounds for right standing before Him, then there is no violation of the Law to be admitted to the court of justice. All of mankind was born under Law and because all have sinned, the Law must bring about wrath upon all who have violated His Law. When we sin under the Law, we store up wrath for “the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God” as Paul mentioned in 2:6. That’s bad news for everyone. This is the prequel to the gospel. The gospel is good news for everyone in the world who believes in Jesus Christ as God’s provision of a savior who takes away their sins. It’s great news for those whom God credits as righteous through faith in His Son as their grounds for right standing. Later, Paul refers to this same good news when he wrote about the “grace in which we stand.” How does this strike you? Do you believe and live by this great reality? If you believe and trust in Jesus, then you are not under Law and there are no violations on your account and won’t ever be. Today, you do not have to live in fear of wrath and punishment. You can live with expectation of joy as you express the love of Jesus in this dark world. Acknowledgment: Music from “Carried by the Father” by Eric Terlizzi. www.ericterlizzi.com
