Once again, the Colorado Avalanche lurked in the shadows, patiently waiting for the right player to fall to them. Last year it was Evan Rodrigues, this year it's Tomas Tatar. Tatar signed a nice and easy one year deal for a low $1.5 million to join the Avs and make their middle six a bit stronger.
