Avs and Wild Need Shootout to Decide Physical, Penalty Filled Game.

Well, we kind of saw this type of game coming. When the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild get together, you can almost guarantee a physical matchup. And that is exactly what we got Monday night. Overall, 44 penalty minutes were divided up in the penalty box. On the ice, hit were everywhere, including a nasty one to goalie Darcy Kuemper's head, which ended his night. In the end, the Avalanche needed another shootout to get the extra point.
