The Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild showed why a 7 game series between the two would likely go the full 7 games. Minnesota got the better of the Avalanche with some nifty goals and two of the short handed variety, but at the same time, the Avalanche showed why they are never out of a matchup. There are no doubt moments the Avs wish they could do over, but that will have to wait until a potential playoff matchup. The Avalanche had their chances, ones they typically capitalize on.
