The Colorado Avalanche looked fresh and ready for the majority of the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. They were getting a ton of shots on net while at the same time keeping the Penguins from getting good looks. But a Pavel Francouz attempted poke at a loose puck didn't go as planned, Pittsburgh capitalized on it to tie the game up late in the 3rd to send it into OT where the Avalanche had their best chance following a Pittsburgh penalty.
