Cale Makar Gets Suspended for Game 5. Kraken Even Series 2-2

Cale Makar will not be on the ice for the Colorado Avalanche for Game 5 of the series with the Seattle Kraken after his hit on Jared McCann. Why this calls into question, yet again, the inconsistencies of the Department of Player Safety. The Avalanche will have to really turn things around with how they are starting games if they want to leave Denver with a 3-2 series lead. Once again Seattle set the tone of the game and it took the Avalanche a period plus to get back into the flow. Playing from behind is not what you want and the Avs have done that every game of the series.
