The Colorado Avalanche were in a dogfight of a game, which was a good thing. What wasn't good was taking the ice in the 3rd period without super star Nathan MacKinnon. Nothing seemed to be glaring for the Avs star as to why he wouldn't finish the game, but he is the latest in the injury bug that has continued since last year.
