Terrible 3rd Period Calls and Non Calls Overshadow Great Game Between Avalanche and Blues

For two periods the refs let the St. Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche fight it out. Then in the 3rd period they decided they weren't involved enough and made some horrible calls and one inexcusable no call. Was it the difference? Impossible to say. But when things are as one sided as they were in one period which leads to the best player in the league not out on the ice for six minutes, we can lean towards probably. Regardless, the Avs and Blues are two of the hottest teams in the league right now and they played like it in a very enjoyable game.
