The Celtics once again avoided losing a 2nd straight game for the 1st time this season with a (123-99) over the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden Thursday night.  The Celtics are now 3-0 on the season against the Pistons and have won 12 straight meetings between the 2 teams.  Derrick White and Payton Pritchard both hit 7 3's in the Celtics 20th win of the season.  Pritchard finished with 27 and White scored 23.  The Celtics had 6 players in Double Figures.  ----- No Tatum. No Hauser: The Celtics were without both Jayson Tatum and Sam Hauser for Thursday's game against the Pistons.  Tatum was out for the 2nd time this season but also for the 2nd time in 4 games and after the team had 4 days between games.  ----- 1st-Half Nuggets:  The Celtics trailed by 2 in the 1st Quarter, led by as many as 11 and ended up leading, 27-16 after the 1st Quarter.  The Pistons went 0-for-12 on 3's in the 1st Quarter.  Luke Kornet was 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line and had 8 Points off the Bench in the 1st.  The Celtics led by 17 in in the 2nd and were up 15 going into the locker room at the Half.
