Summer Signings Surprise the NHL

The calendar may say late July but NHL teams have been busy in recent days with some big signings. The Philadelphia Flyers inked Travis Konecny to an eight-year extension worth an AAV of $8.75 million. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Sabres signed goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to a new contract.
