The Dallas Stars Fight the Odds and Earn a Point in OT Loss to Tampa Bay Lightning

The Dallas Stars (9-5-2) played in a high-intensity contest on Tuesday night in Tampa Bay. Unfortunately, the boys in green came up just short as they lost to the Lightning 5-4 in overtime. Although winning is more fun, snagging one point is still huge for the Stars. Every point matters in the grand scheme of things and everytime you can get points in a road tilt in the NHL is great. The Stars special teams are continuing to produce at a high level with both the power play and the penalty kill placing in the top three across the whole league. Jason Robertson and Rope Hintz are also on a tear with a nine-game point streak. We need to appreciate their greatness.
