Pittsburgh Steelers Sign Markus Golden | Omar Khan Find's 3rd Edge Rusher to Solidify Depth Chart

Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and brings a bonus episode with breaking news. The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Markus Golden to a one-year deal Wednesday to fill out the Steelers' depth at edge rusher. The free agency signing by Omar Khan brings in an experienced, 32 year old edge rusher to play behind T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith in 2023. Golden only had 2.5 sacks in 2022, but had 11 in 2021, 4.5 in 2020 and 10 in 2019. He won't be a game-changing starter, but he will bring much needed depth that will allow Nick Herbig and Quincy Roche to be just the fourth option as the Steelers' options on the edge.
