In this special episode of Careers in Fashion, we are joined by Academy Award nominee Marc Pilcher, fresh from designing hair and make-up for the hit Netflix Series Bridgerton, and LCF International Coordinator Elizabeth McLafferty who is currently researching appropriations of identity through hair and faith. We will explore the processes behind characterisation and the nature of identity within the world of hair and make-up, travelling through theatre, TV, film and fashion. Marc has been working in performance since graduating LCF; attached to shows like Phantom of the Opera and Evita, Downton Abby and Bridgerton TV series and films such as Mary Queen of Scots. Elizabeth trained in Hair and Make-up at LCF and worked with Marc in the West End before moving into education and research, working on international promotions initiatives across Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
