London Fire Captain Derrick Martin on 39 first responders being honoured for their roles in a rescue operation in London

On Dec. 11, 2020 a partial building collapse occurred at 555 Teeple Terrace in London. It tragically claimed the lives of Henry Harder and John Martens but a rescue effort saved the lives of other construction workers on site. On June 17, 2024 a total of 39 first responders from London were honoured at a ceremony in Toronto. 980 CFPL's Mike Stubbs spoke with London Fire Captain Derrick Martin about that day and about the rescue operation that took place.
