Reporters Annie Hylton and Malia Politzer speak with Longreads Senior Editor Krista Stevens about their new Longreads feature Caught Between Borders, which profiles challenges facing LGBTI asylum seekers in Africa.  Annie and Malia share interview clips from their reporting and give context for the piece with the story of Janet, who left Uganda to apply for asylum in the Netherlands after she and her girlfriend were discovered together.
