Taking the stress out of meal time with little ones and empowering children to trust themselves and their bodies with Kylie Mitchell, Registered Dietitian with immaEATthat Nutrition Counseling
I Just Have to Say with Laura Max - A podcast by Laura Max Rose

Dinner time at our house used to be the most stressful hour of my day. I would call friends, complain, pull my hair out, and walk away feeling more exhausted and drained than the night before. My oldest daughter was what one might call a "picky" eater, and I was terrified she wasn't going to get the nutrition she needed. My anxiety led me to become a less-than-pleasant dinner partner without even realizing it. I heard things coming out of my mouth that I knew were unproductive and potentially harmful (ie encouraging my daughter to eat when she wasn't hungry), but I kept doing the same thing over and over again. Mealtime looks 180 degrees different today, thanks in large part to many of the principles that has led nearly 50K people to follow this episode's interviewee, Kylie Mitchell, as she leads the way to intuitive eating after recovering from an eating disorder. With two young children herself, she helps moms navigate mealtime and takes the stress out by providing us with some pretty cool information about why our kids are the way they are around food and we can be supportive, confident and less stressed at the dinner table. If you find yourself dreading dinnertime like I was, LISTEN TO THIS EPISODE! Kylie has so much great advice for adults and their children.
