Lucy Loves Coco and Alice

LUCY LOVES - A podcast by Lucy Gourlay - Thursdays

This week it's double the fun, double the chat and double the energy as I'm chatting to the girls at Coco and Alice who set up a brilliantly clever idea of selling pre-loved, nearly new designer clothes. They started in Coco's living room in 2018, and they have a destination shop called Coco & Alice in rural Northumberland. I say destination shop because people will travel for miles for their first class service, fabulous energy, and for the clever way they put outfits together. They do the most wonderful fashion parades on Instagram stories. I met them last year and was utterly charmed by their warmth, their big hearts, but mostly their really engaging energy and I'm delighted to chat with them both.   Here are the highlights from this episode: {5:33} How shopping vintage is a private and fun  way to shop {6:32} How there's no right and wrong with fashion {7:56} Is it better to be over or under-dressed? {9:58} What inspires Coco {10:47} Telford Timing! {11:44} Completer? Finisher? {14:42} The best compliment the girls have received {18:30} Looking forward to post lockdown visits to restaurants {20:09} The Coco & Alice pop up shop {23:46} What makes the Coco & Alice girls hearts smile   Connect with Coco & Alice at https://cocoandalice.com/
