Miles Lyon [Journey Series]

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series, On this edition, we welcome @2alchemist7 He's a Dallas based DJ, that has been in the electronic music scene since the late 2000's, where he became infatuated by the rich textures and high energy of Trance. Inspired by OTC sets, his taste quickly gravitated from peak-time, floor stomping tracks to center more toward the progressive, evocative soundscapes of the deeper cuts that would be played at the beginning of the night. After moving to a much smaller city in 2015 for graduate school, where an electronic scene was non-existent, he decided to immerse himself in the art of DJing, furthering his passion for the melodic and hypnotic sounds that drive extended sets. In 2019 he founded Shades, a mix series that explores the current state of House, Techno, and Trance. We hope you enjoy this mix as much as we did!
