Emotional Integration Meditation - Jungian Shadow Work

Make it Conscious - Inner Work Exercises - A podcast by Max Chegwyn

Emotional Integration is a cornerstone of personal transformation, shadow work and the attainment of self-knowledge. Swiss psychologist Carl Jung once said “There can be no transforming of darkness into light and of apathy into movement without emotion.” In this Emotional Integration exercise, we will be voluntarily engaging with an emotional trigger. We will bring this feeling to mind, experiencing it fully, allowing it to run its course in conscious awareness. By integrating emotions in this way, we can release from old patterns, live freely, without conflict, and align more closely with our authentic selves. Before you begin this exercise, it can help to have a particular feeling in mind to work with - whether something that came up during an active imagination exercise, a coaching session, a tarot reading, or in daily life. Alternatively, you can use this guided exercise itself to work with whatever needs to come up. Completing this extended Emotional Integration exercise takes courage and a willingness to go deep into some potentially challenging aspects of the unconscious. Remember that these feelings are impermanent, and that whatever you experience during this exercise is a reflection of your own mind and inner wisdom. ---------- Tarot Birth Chart Reports - https://makeitconscious.com/step/tarot-birth-chart-reports/ Divination - Two Part Video Series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeuFwuWK5O2NCUr11ZJRmaXuwTfvScrwf Why Divination is Real article series: https://makeitconscious.com/why-divination-is-real/ Seven Habits of Individuation Ebook: https://makeitconscious.com/sevenhabits/ Main Podcast on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6AxGzV3sa6kK2NKSKDyuJa Make It Conscious Blog: https://makeitconscious.com/blog/ ---------- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/makeitconscious/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/maxchegwyn/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/makeitconscious ---------- music provided by CoolTones, from Pond5
