Original published date: July 17th 2019 Danilo Medina is the current president of the Dominican Republic, and as we speak he is trying to stay in power indefinitely, and has sent the Armed Forces and the National Police to surround the Dominican Congress so he can change the constitution in order to run for president for a third time (and who knows how many more times!)  In this episode I explain a brief history of the Dominican Republic, the current government, why this is the beginning of a dictatorship, and what can we do.
