In this episode, I’m excited to talk toKavitha Baratakke! Kavitha moved to the US in 1998 in order to attend Grad school. She was a computer science engineer and was raised to believe that in order to be successful she needed to go to school and get a good job working for someone else. However, she explored her interest in real estate after her divorce when she reclaimed her power and control of her own income. She has since become an extremely successful real estate investor and financial educator. Kavitha is also an incredible mom to her daughter who has recently gone off to college. She discusses with us her take on today’s market, the importance of financial literacy and where to begin when getting into investing.
