We all want to be more productive and at some point may try all the things in our pursuit of productivity. But did you know that some productivity tools can be counterproductive? As the popular saying goes: ”Not everything that shines is gold”. Before you jump on any productivity trend or tool, it is essential that you know yourself and how you work best. So today I want to encourage you to examine the tools you use and evaluate if they’re really serving you. Maybe they helped you a long time ago but now you’re in a stage where they’re not the best tool anymore. I don’t want you to force yourself into using something, just because someone else is using it or because it used to work for you a few years ago. Learn yourself as you evolve, so you can pick the tools that will best work for you, not against you. It’s not that the tools that I’m about to share with you are bad; it’s just that they can be counterproductive in ways you may not have considered.
