Having high blood pressure doubles your risk of heart disease or stroke and causes eight million deaths globally per year. Hypertension often has no symptoms and is therefore called the silent killer. Many people are told they are border line or have hypertension but continue with their current lifestyle because there are no obvious issues. In this solo show Matt discusses what blood pressure is, the causes of hypertension and the consequences of poorly managed hypertension. 26% of the adult population has hypertension; that´s 1 in 4 people.
