She is a serial entrepreneur, an adjunct Professor at DePaul University, and board member of numerous women and minority organizations.  One of the 16 companies she founded was selected to represent the State of Illinois as a trade delegate in Germany, Dubai, UAE, and Johannesburg, South Africa Health Exhibitions. Dima started her career acquiring and running new ventures at NutraSweet.  Dima was one of Chicago magazine's Top Women in Tech, Chicago Innov’s 50 on Fire, and Chicago Tribune’s BlueSky Vault,Top 100 Entrepreneurs in Chicago. She was named as the technology and innovation lead for AMWA’s (American Medical Women’s Association) Diversity & Inclusion initiative and served as President of Women in Bio. She has also presented a TedX Talk One Size Does Not Fit All, Personalizing Medicine. Dima is an in-demand speaker as a subject matter expert on healthcare, technology, and diversity. She has spoken at over 150 events reaching an audience of over 150,000 people. She serves as a board member of more than 10 domestic and international community-based organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). She is a founding board member of the first Women in Entrepreneurship Institute at DePaul University and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Hanover College. Dima is fluent in French and Arabic. She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Hanover College and has an MBA from Texas A&M’s Mays School of Business.
