René has worked with Chicago Public Schools, and created galleries and project opportunities that have grown Mexican printmaking in Chicago and beyond. This fascinating discussion also speaks to the long history that dates back to Mexican indigenous forms of printmaking up through the growth of popularity in José Guadalupe Posada's forms of socially conscious printmaking.
