101 - Bachelor Pad Economics

MGTOW Sandman Quotes - A podcast by Mgtow

So I finally got a chance to review Aaron Clarey´s book Bachelor Pad Economics. The book sells itself as the book that contains everything a man needs to manage his life. And that includes finances, education, career advice, entrepreneurship, women and retirement. I´m going to try and focus on all of the subjects he brings up but I´m hope to cover his advice on women as a main focus. The book Bachelor Pad Economics is not meant to be read from cover to cover but instead be used as a reference book for men at different stages of their lives. When it comes to I agree with Aaron that you have to select the right major because it´s going to change the entire course of your life. Aaron Clarey would have chewed me up for my major. I took Media in college. My parents thought it would have been a better idea for me to take psychology as my undergrad. Thank god I didn´t listen to them and did my own thing. Before starting my third year in college I realized that I wasn't going to get a job after finishing school. So I took the skills that I picked up to that point in college which were photography, video, film and web design and put them to use. So I started building an online advertising business while I was in school. And I was making as much money as my professors in my third year of college while the dot com boom was happening. Aaron says pick the right major but what about if you´re caught up in the middle of a bad major? Do you cut your losses or do you try to make the best of it? Luckily I made the best of it and upon graduation I had my own business to fall back on. I remember being so happy on graduation day because I had built my own job and was ready to go full blast the day after graduation. Most people on graduation day had a terrified look on their face and were pretending to smile. It was the most surreal thing I had seen up to that point in my life. It was my own ingenuity that got me out of that mess. And the money I made while in school paid for my education and I graduated debt free and with money in my pocket. How about that. My motto has always been D is for Degree. So if you are in a major with no future use those four years to build a business while barely passing your classes. That´s what I did. And that´s my unique advice to everyone. And I love Aarons advice: Want to be an actor start a youtube channel. Want to be on radio: Start a podcast. This is exactly what I did instinctively and now the same advice is in his book. The old men and women need the young to leech off of. That´s why it´s good to sidestep the whole thing. Aaron was also kind enough to send me a copy of his other book Worthless: The Young Person's Indispensable Guide to Choosing the Right Major. And it has a breakdown of both the benefits and disadvantages of taking certain college majors. But I don't want to spend too much time on helping men with their education and want to move onto other parts of the book. Just make sure you don't take a stupid college major like art therapy.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
