Hello Sandman, I would like you comment on the mountain men of the 19th century. Were they the MGTOW of their day? Two people from this time include movement are Grizzly Adams and Jeremiah Johnson. And If you don't have enough material for a full video please include what you think of the Vulcan's in Star Trek where they focus on their career's and have sex (for mating purposes) once only seven years. Thank you, Jon. Well thanks for your questions and comments. I'll cover all three men, James "Grizzly" Adams, John "Liver Eating" Johnson and the Vulcan's of Star Trek. I find the dichotomy interesting because it's how we imagine men going their own way in the past as well as how we imagine them in the future. Here we are in the twenty first century looking back to the way society saw men going their own way back in the nineteenth century as well as how society saw men going their own way back in the sixties in the original Star Trek and projecting out male qualities out to the twenty third and twenty fourth centuries. So in a way this video will be a bit of time travel intothe future and into the past.
