MGTOW Sandman Quotes - A podcast by Mgtow

"MGTOWs often bring up Japan because of the Herbivore Movement and the panic it's causing for Japanese economists. A great number of Herbivore Men indulge in dating sim games and hentai(or porn) in lieu of pursuing women for sexual gratification or even love. If they can afford it, men also go to hostess clubs, where men pay to have drinks and casual conversations with women, a sort of "rent a girlfriend" service. That's not to say that a growing number of Japanese women aren't partaking in such activities as well, as host clubs are frequented by single women as often if not more. In a way Japan is sort of a looking glass for the rest of the world in how MGTOW can effect society. I'm including a two links on the subject of love in Japan to help with your research, in case you haven't seen them already. Thanks Ichigo for your comments and bringing up this subject. I'm also including the two links in the description below so that everyone can watch them and get a little bit more background on where he's coming from. After watching these videos I began to make sense of what I have been seeing most of my life with regards to synthetic relationships. We have been having artificial relationships for a long time but they have been basic up until the 1990s and they were one way. When I was in high school I was in a very multi-cultural school and there were a lot of Japanese and Korean kids in my classrooms and they were obsessed with Tamagotchi. For those of you unfamiliar with Tamagotchi it's a handheld digital pet that was sold by Bandai in 1996. It came out just in time for my senior year in high school and people in my class were obsessed with it. They were constantly feeding their Tamagotchi and giving it attention. The Asian kids played with the virtual pet and many of the white girls had synthetic baby dolls they were given in their home economics classroom. The baby would measure how you took care of it through a bunch of sensors found inside. These were the first truely virtual types of relationships I saw in my life. And if Tamagotchi was so popular in Canadian classrooms I can only imagine how it must have influenced Japanese culture. A relationship with a virtual pet might have eventually lead some to see a virtual relationship with a girlfriend or a boyfriend. As additional research for this video I watched the Spike Jonze film HER, yesterday. It's about the Virtual or Synthetic relationship between the main character Theodore and Samantha his synthetic operating system. Spike Jonze wrote and directed this film and I think it's quite forward thinking.Game Exchange: Dating Sims and Synthetic Relationshipshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PKwc...Vice - The Japanese Love Industryhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpZbu...Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/mgtow/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
