His book profiles five possible victims of the Gilgo Beach/Long Island Serial Killer, including Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Melissa Barthelemy, Shannan Gilbert, Megan Waterman, and Amber Lynn Costello. Suspect Rex Heuermann was arrested July 14, and charged with killing at least 3 of these women, with charges pending in a fourth case.
