Singapore shares climbed at the opening bell this morning, despite overnight losses in global markets. The Straits Times Index (STI) gained 0.3 per cent to 3,116.94 points after 53.4 million securities changed hands in the broader market.  In terms of companies to watch for today, we have  Singtel.
