PAUSE… Feel your energy gently buzzing within you, readying you for the day ahead. PAUSE… Now, imagine a crystal ball appearing before you. And as you peer into the crystal ball, you see all the things you feel you have to do. PAUSE… Now, breathe, and just look at those things, detaching from the sense of obligation and keeping yourself calm and relaxed. PAUSE… And as you do that, imagine that a game controller magically appears in your hand. After a moment, you realize that you have been gifted with an amazing power with this game controller. PAUSE… While watching yourself go through your day, the magical game controller lets you skip through any of the things you don’t want to invest much time into.  So, quickly, you skip through the day until you get to the evening where you have your time.  PAUSE… And as you settle into “your time”, whether it’s reading, painting, talking with friends, meditating or something else, you see yourself through a different lens, and feel connected to your authentic self.  PAUSE… After a moment, the controller rewinds the entire day and reorganizes it, so the parts that are most important to you take up more time. PAUSE… As this happens, an awareness reveals itself: You realize there’s a different way to view the day, a way that allows you to choose your reactions and what you want to prioritize and what you want to “jump over.”  PAUSE…  Now, take a deep breath and let this different view reverberate through you. And as the breath settles, give yourself permission to do those things that are important to you, those things that feed your spirit. And now embrace how good that feels to be in charge of your life. PAUSE… Now, envision that feeling spreading through you even when doing things you’re not as interested in, until a radiant peace fills your being: A peace that stays with you all day.
