A moment to let go of all that’s outside. PAUSE Breathe. Breathe, and go deeper  into yourself. PAUSE Now, allow yourself  to back to a time that was fun  and full of joy. It could be recently, or it could be many years ago. PAUSE Give yourself permission to see yourself  at this time. See how happy you were. What were you doing? Who was with you? PAUSE Now, take a deep breath, and let those feelings rise up in you now. feel that happiness. Stay with the happiness. PAUSE Now, breathe, and let that image fade into the background. And, as it fades, another time  when you were happy takes its place. PAUSE Again, allow the feelings of this happy time to become part of you now. Observe what you were doing and who was with you. PAUSE Take a deep breath, and let this happy time gently fade into the background. PAUSE Now, give yourself a minute to reflect on these experiences. What was similar about them? What was different? What can you use to boost your mood? PAUSE Now, take a moment, and acknowledge that these memories, your happy memories, have the power to boost your happiness any time you feel down. Remind yourself  that you have the power to bring them out Any time you need them.
