Dealing with Loss with Dean Munro

Mother Tongue - A podcast by Mother Tongue - Tuesdays

Dealing with untimely and tragic death of one’s own children is the most harrowing experience for any parent. British dad, Dean Munro, turned to the written word to cope with grief when his 10-week-old baby passed away. On today’s episode, we discuss loss and grief with the incredibly brave and inspirational Dean Munro, who wrote the Monte Series, the magical children’s book series in honour of Monte Gray Noel Munro, who was born with myotubular myopathy, a rare condition that causes severe muscle weakness and breathing difficulties. He passed away in June 2021. Whilst being incredibly sad, it is also a truly uplifting and inspirational story. We hope those who are or have been through similar challenging times, can find some comfort and strength within this episode. Monte’s Stories can be purchased at amazon.co.uk and authorshouse.com To find out more about Dean Munro and Monte’s Stories:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/deanmunro11/?hl=enInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/montes_stories/?hl=en To watch Afterlife on Netflix: https://www.netflix.com/ae-en/title/80998491 See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
