Kristín Lárusdóttir is a cellist who crosses into electronica, jazz, tango and folk music and she loves to perform the traditional Icelandic folk rimur songs with her cello, mixing old and new. Linda Buckley and producer Helen Shaw met up with her at the local church in Iceland where she plays cello at Sunday services to talk about the importance of musice in Iceland and why Iceland draws people home and why music is now such a communal force in the country.
