104-year-old motorcycle club aims to complete 90-mile challenge for charity

A motorcycle club will raise money for a Salisbury charity with a 90-mile ride.Salisbury Motorcycle and Light Car Club will take on the Five Valleys Charity Motorcycle Run on Sunday, April 27, to raise money for Salisbury Foodbank.Salisbury Motorcycle Club was first formed in 1921 under the name of Sarum and District Motorcycle Club. The main interest of the club at that time was motorcycle trials.Every year, the club raises funds for a different charity. Previous charity fundraisers have been with Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Salisbury Women’s Refuge, Salisbury Hospice, Naomi House, Salisbury Trust for the Homeless and SERV Wessex Blood Bikes, to name a few.
