From a very young age he was involved with the boy scouts, as he grew up he saw how scouts helped him to understand how much you could thrive in the outdoors. He had his heart set on joining the marines at the age of 14 so after he left high school he fulfilled this ambition by joining the Royal Marines two years later and serving as a sniper. Aldo was one of the youngest Elite Commando Reconnaissance Snipers in the UK. He’s served in the Middle East and Northern Ireland, so is an expert in hostile environments. After committing decades of his life to the marines Kane saw it was time to move on, he started his career as a climbing instructor and even established his own organisation called Vertical Planet. His organisation focuses on extreme locations and vertical rigging for the TV and film industry Alongside his career Kane has authored a novel and worked on various media projects. He takes his time to talk to us about decision making, searching for our passion in life, and thinking ahead to the future.
