In the studio tonight I have filmmaker, producer, singer songwriter, podcaster, activist and researcher of everything that is interesting.  From Ontario Canada, Zena Hagerty  And from Michigan, a researcher and creative artist who has spent a lifetime reaching new discoveries in science and the arts and who also has literally reached out to the cosmos to connect with and experience the unknown..  John Shepherd is also here. Zena is the host of My Heart Remembers; a unique podcast, that explores our fundamental relationships with our culture, with each other, and with the mystically wonderful world in which we live. Zena and her guests explore what it has been and what it is to take on something that is new and different in their lives, and what spurs their personal creative fires. These are conversations with folks that vary from the common street angel to world renowned artists. From a small cottage in Northern Michigan John started building electronic equipment to make contact with whatever life lies in our universe. What began in the bedroom continued to grow, and in the next two years, giant electronic communication transmitters were migrating into the living room.   And then it got bigger! The self-taught electronics genius founded Project STRAT (Special Telemetry Research and Tracking) and converted his grandparents house into something resembling an extreme high voltage radio station of military scale. For 25 years he broadcast daily low-frequency radio shows into space, featuring jazz, world music and electronic beats.
