Let me tell you a story Let me tell you the story You see, He, His choice of exercise was lifting The sea, Yes, He has mastered the art of defiance His muscles at ease He must be one of the hundreds Who have not one disease He’s my roaring shelter To me he brings no harm Just sea salt and A mermaid’s voice Of which to cherish And to match my violin Strings to, to whom all my regards Are sent to   He is my whisper.   As loud as he is soft.   He is my  son And he protects me He is my sun and He surrounds me Because he knows What I did for nine months and Every day since then He knows I would protect him – Even if it meant my life no longer. My breath is his no argument My love, it stands on its own. As for my treasure She is still sleeping So please be soft, be soft. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nakedpoetry/support
